Darkness Vanishes

We feel the most helpless in the darkness. It is hard to see and hard to distinguish what is real and what is imagined. Light always chases away the shadows and allows us to see more clearly. In the light, our discernment increases and understanding is clearer.

The Light

The light is representative of our Savior, Jesus Christ. He brings light to the world and to our lives, as we learn of Him and try to follow His example.

While he was specifically speaking to the men, this also applies to all people. We have more light within us when we follow Jesus Christ and this dispels darkness from our lives. It gives us hope, clarity and understanding.
